Volunteers Invited to Read New Ag Lit Day Book
Florida agriculture industry volunteers are invited to read in elementary school classrooms a new book called “Green Florida Farms” for Florida Agriculture Literacy Day set for Tuesday March 23. The book educates students about the environmental contributions Florida farmers make to the state. Teachers who would like agriculture industry people in their areas to read in their classrooms should contact Florida Agriculture in the Classroom by calling (352) 846-1391 or emailing faitc@ifas.ufl.edu.
